FDA Recall, Commercial supplier claims and FOOD SAFETY modernization act COMPLIANCE

We have represent food suppliers and manufacturers in FDA recalls and supplier lawsuits.  Our experience includes defending suppliers against upstream and downstream supplier claims, advising suppliers and manufacturers on insurance issues, market withdrawals and advising importers on food product safety issues arising from production in foreign countries.  We also provide legal compliance counseling to suppliers, domestic and importers, regarding the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).   

Our firm was lead counsel for a food supplier regarding the recent nationwide cumin recall in the United States, where we successfully defended the supplier against millions of dollars in supplier claims.
